From 2000 hives in Northumberland

Founded by William Selby Robson in 1948, Chainbridge Honey Farm was developed into a viable honey farm in the 1970s, by William’s son. From humble beginnings, the farm now owns over 2000 hives within a 40 mile radius of Berwick upon Tweed. Their final product is made the traditional way, without over-processing; maintaining the unique and distinctive character of each jar.

The team of bees at Chainbridge Honey Farm can produce up to 60 tonnes of honey in a good season. They begin their year in fields of oil seed rape, before being transported to the heather moors towards the end of July. August brings the heather flowers into full bloom and with it delicious heather honey!
