Hobbs House Bakery is a true family business based in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. Established in 1920, they are now into their fifth generation and the team have rightfully carved out a position for themselves as local ‘food heroes’. Said to be born with flour on their fingers, the Herbert brothers have instilled quality and craftsmanship back into baking. Their expert team use traditional methods to produce an exceptional range of award winning breads and pastries.
Their team now employ 20 skilled bakers, working 6 days a week to bring us the freshest handmade bread. At Gloucester Services our bread table is always overflowing with delicious Hobbs products including our favourite Sherston loaf, it makes the very best toast!
We knew Hobbs House Bakery were the perfect team to provide us with their delicious mince pies this Christmas, they’ve been making them for 20 years! Made using traditional methods with their own recipe mincemeat and handmade pastry, they’re delicious served hot or cold and fantastic with cream!
