Typographic Specimens is a collection of extraordinary creatures made entirely out of letter forms, numerals and punctuation marks. The book presents ‘species’ from the imagination of Andrew Bainbridge, a designer and graphic communications lecturer, taken from a fictional manuscript by his fictional ancestor, Reverend Jackson Whitehead.

Moorlands Candles

Ted Thompson began his candle-making business, Moorlands Dipped Candles, in Cumbria over 30 years ago after stints as a trainee surveyor and a joiner. Inspired by a Danish friend he set about teaching himself the traditional craft of dipping candles, starting with the wick and building the candles up and learning by trial and error.
